An afternoon of fun, dance and fashion for students of LAD College

For students of LAD College, it was a fantastic afternoon of fun, dance and fashion. While the teachers and students were decked up in traditional Gujarati attires, it surely looked like they were soaking in the Navratri festivities with gusto and fervour.
The ambience of the venue reflected this flavour as right from the clothes, the food stalls, to the decoration and music - everything was typical Gujarati; almost as if a mini-Gujarat had been created! We caught up with Prajakta Fadnavis, who was spotted capturing these festive moments on her camera.She said, “I am not a Gujarati, I don’t even have a ghagra choli and that’s why I am looking different in this black churidhar kurta! But, this is the only time I get to see the dandia raas and revel in the garba festivities so I am having a blast!” Endorsing this were teachers who said that they too were enjoying this break from academics.
